Andy Sattler

Aiden was one of my best friends. We went from sitting with each other in Mrs. Graffiti’s 5th-grade class to eating lunch together as 17-year-olds. From playing Xbox till 4 am to being my first gym partner. From riding bikes and rollerblading around to driving in his Mustang. From ding dong ditching to talking about our jobs and the future. From falling asleep at 9 pm to pulling an all-nighter the first day of senior year. We got to watch each other grow up side by side.

We were best friends in elementary and middle school. We drifted apart a little but became close again in our sophomore year. It was crazy how everything just came back together. My childhood friend group became best friends again and it was like nothing had changed. That 2 year period when we were best friends again made some of the greatest memories of my life.

Aiden loved and found joy in a lot of things. You know what he really loved? “Borrowing” my clothes. Somehow he always ended up with stuff of mine. He used to take my Faze Clan hoodies and would wear them 24/7. I used to get a little frustrated that they’d disappear but now I wish he’d take them one more time.

I miss you so much. Not a day goes by when I don’t think of you.

P.S. The Canadiens didn’t lose a fan, I still wear a Habs beanie for you.
