Raising awareness is our mission
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission. We are able to provide school, mental health facilities, and local outreach programs with literature that is essential today. We have come to a point in our society that suicide should no longer be a taboo term, just like mental health. Suicide was the second leading cause of death among individuals between the ages of 10-14 and 25-34 , the third leading cause of death among individuals between the ages of 15-24, and the fifth leading cause of death among individuals between the ages of 35 and 44. I don't think we are informed enough when it comes to suicide. Whether it's a suicide attempt, or suicide ideation there is ways to put information out there for our friends and family. Their story doesn't have to end. Our goal is to make 988 as much of a household name as 911. You can click on the about 988 tab to learn more.
