Aiden and I became friends my sophomore year. We had a lot of similar friends so I always thought he could be someone I would get along with. We shared a few classes and gradually became closer. I quickly learned how easy it was for him to put a smile on my face. From his quick one liners to just straight up stupidity, he always had the people surrounding him laughing. Although he made dumb jokes, he was very much the opposite. Being in class with him showed me how smart he was. Not only was he smart, but was always willing to help me out if I was stuck.
By the time junior year came around, I considered Aiden one of my best friends. He had all the qualities to make him one of the best people I have met. Aiden cared for his friends and family deeply. He talked about them with such pride. Even if we went to just grab food, it always turned into a fun night. You would probably not be surprised if I said how many videos I have of him just dancing. My favorite memory in particular is when we went sledding at tamo… using our cars. A few bruises will always be worth a great memory.
Although my time was cut short with Aiden, I will never forget the impact he had on me. I miss him so much, but am grateful for the time I did get to spend with him.
With love,
Meg
